Il MAGO, produced in Ticino, is vinified from carefully selected Merlot grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and ageing in new 225-litre French oak barriques.

Brilliant ruby red in colour, it is a wine with a very fruity bouquet of blackberries, vanilla and noble spices. The taste is velvety warm and enveloping. A harmony of intense and overwhelming aromas.

This is it! After 5 long years, we re-propose for connoisseurs and nostalgics the Mago Merlot Ticino DOC 2018. A great wine of ours that has not been produced for 5 years. Since we no longer cultivate the vineyard in Rancate, we lacked the raw material for the production. A Merlot that we remember was the expression of fantastic elegance and finesse that for 15 long years gave us great satisfaction and made many fans fall in love with the Merlot of our land.

Pairings: Excellent with roast, grilled or game meat dishes.
